Skills and qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; 3+ years’ experience (consultancy experience in road engineering and/or road safety and/or climate change is preferable); Experience in project and/or proposal management for consultancy firms is preferable; Fluent spoken and written (minimum C1 level) English and/or French, and/or Spanish are a plus; Experience in international consultancy projects for IFI’s (EU, EIB, WB, ADB, AfDB, etc.) is preferred; Self-motivated and proactive individual, able to work in both small and large engineering team environments delivering results; Able to provide innovative, fit for purpose, solutions whilst meeting basic client engineering requirements.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
Management of proposals/quotations for international consultancy projects. She/he will be responsible for the identification of business development opportunities and tenders, and the preparation of proposals/quotations including, among others:
- Screening business development opportunities and tenders;
- Identifying partners, subcontractors & human resources;
- Writing proposals/quotations, including developing the technical approach and the financial conditions;
- Following-up tender procedures and results;
- Negotiating contracts.
Management of international consultancy projects. She/he will be responsible for the whole performance and execution of consultancy projects involving among others:
- Performing project administration and quality control;
- Liaising with Clients and Beneficiaries/Promoters, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to Client and Beneficiaries/Promoters requirements;
- Accurate forecasting, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting Managing and coordinating human resources and subcontractors
- Following-up of activities and tasks
- Monitoring and control of project schedule and budget
- Reviewing of deliverables
