We are excited to share a new step of FRED Engineering in Central Asia!
We have just signed a contract with the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan to develop a National Road Safety Strategy with an action plan for the Republic of Tajikistan 2024-2030.
This consultancy is funded by the World Bank and will last for 12 months, during which we will assess the current road safety framework in the country and develop a new customised national road safety strategy and action plan for the next six years.
This is FRED’s first contract in Tajiskistan. However, FRED has already been active in the region for some time. In particular, the FRED team is finalising a project on behalf of ADB covering all CAREC countries, aimed at improving the collection of traffic crash data. This technical assistance will be completed in autumn 2024.
